Alun Skitt brings more than 15 years of experience in senior living to The Ridglea Assisted Living and Memory Care. Alun worked with the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association for many years, serving on the Board of Directors in several key positions including four years as the lead instructor. Alun’s mother, who was a long-term care nurse, inspired him to work in the senior living industry. She taught him to make a difference in the lives of the seniors he serves. His favorite quote is from Maya Angelou: “If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” Alun loves spending his free time keeping up with his three lively children.[ Read More ]
Nicky Brown
Nicky BrownCommunity Outreach Director
Nicky Brown comes to The Ridglea with ten years of experience serving the senior population. She specializes in geriatrics with an emphasis on dementia She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from West Texas A&M University; where she graduated with honors. She is a Licensed Masters Social Worker. She is always looking for new ways to learn and grow professionally and is an avid supporter of Alzheimer’s disease research. Prior to working at The Ridglea she was faculty at UNTHSC where she had the privilege of working alongside some of the best physicians in dementia care and Alzheimer’s research. Nicky is passionate about enhancing the lives of residents and their families while providing education daily. She is married and has three beautiful children; who are very active and full of life.[ Read More ]

Tracey TiptonCommunity Relations Director
Tracey Tipton is challenged each day to live out her favorite quote from Theodore Roosevelt: “People don’t know how much you know until they know how much you care.” As the Community Relations Director, Tracey receives great satisfaction from assisting families in finding solutions and resources during what may be a very stressful situation. Her biggest reward is watching the new residents settle into The Ridglea community and make new friends. Kathleen Petkovyat is highly knowledgeable and experienced as a Certified Nurses Aide, private duty nurse, and nurse in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. Her desire is to “give passionate service to our residents and to give them the dignity, respect, and quality of life they deserve.” She loves listening to the residents’ stories about their past. To relax after a long day, Kathleen watches classic movies, cooks, shops for antiques, and spends time with her daughter.[ Read More ]

While Ashlee Moore is new to the senior living industry, she draws on her experience and her loving relationship with her grandparents. Ashlee loves hearing the resident’s stories. She learns every day from their life experiences and their wisdom. Ashlee’s goal each day is to ensure that every person feels a sense of purpose and value.
